While some equipment, like filters or diffusers, can be installed by DIY enthusiasts, professional installation is recommended for major components like AHUs, fans, and ductwork to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Dampers control the airflow within ducts, helping to direct air to specific parts of the building. They can also be used to regulate the volume of air entering the space.
Upgrading to variable-speed fans, installing smart controls, sealing ducts, and regularly maintaining filters can improve system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
